Bite Me
Bite Me follows Dawn Wilson, a sixteen year-old vampire, as she finishes her sophomore year and starts her junior year at Thorndale High School. Devil-worshipping cheerleaders. Ritual human sacrifice. Commercial cannibalism. Burnout zombies. Fairies, werewolves and warlocks. Bite Me's snarky and irreverent humor combines horror and science fiction movie tropes and pop culture favorites with the painful experiences of high school as Dawn tries to fit in, stand out, solve mysteries, save her friends — and frenemies — find love and basically survive high school.

The Cast

CHARACTERS:

DAWN WILSON (16) : Emo-girl
interrupted. The normal world can be a total drag especially for a girl who's been sixteen forever. (Well, sort of forever.) Dawn's your classic, misanthropic teenager who happens to be a vampire. At school and at home she's persona non grata. “Grow up!” “I can't!” Dawn disguises her teen fangst in witty
verbal barbs and she uses her dark emo-style as a weapon. Literally. Oh, and she occasionally has to drink blood and suck people's energy to stay alive.

KENDALL BURKE (16) : Dawn's
bestie. A fellow “Daughter in Darkness,” “Sister of S.N.A.R.L.,” Their banter is whip-smart and cynical. Kendall's a “normal,” a fact that Dawn has been willing to overlook until now. As they end their sophomore year, the two best friends start to grow apart. Kendall wants a life — boys and popularity — and
Dawn must eventually accept their differences.

SCOTT STEIN (17) :
Thorndale's star quarterback and shoo-in for valedictorian. But Scott's got a dark secret: His father, plastic surgeon
and geneticist to the Stars, Frank N. Stein genetically engineered his son to be the perfect child, the perfect athlete, the perfect student. Scott's got the hots for Dawn but he's “too perfect.” Will Dawn see that they have more in common than she thought? Will Scott find the courage to face his overbearing creator/father and be his own man?

DELILAH STOKES (16) : The perpetual thorn in Dawn's side. Delilah is ambitious, selfish, demanding, high-strung and will stop at nothing to expose Dawn's secret. When Delilah's bitten by a werewolf, she finds out that life as a “freak” ain't a walk in the park. Her hot boyfriend BLAYNE FAIRWEATHER (17) is secretly a fairy.

LAURA WILSON (13) :
Dawn's sister. The complete opposite of Dawn: cute, perky, sort of Paris Hilton meets My Little Pony. Laura's adopted
from a small village outside of Chernobyl. Laura takes anti-psychotic meds to keep her bipolar, homicidal impulses in check. Next year she's going to be a freshman at Thorndale.

PRINCIPAL TORQUEMADA (40s) : “Ms. T for Torture” runs her school with an Iron Fist and an Iron Maiden — her family history traces back to the Inquisition. Ms. T tries to keep the freaks n' geeks in line but the arrival of the district Superintendent causes her to re-evaluate her disciplinary tactics.

BETH PITT (30s) :
The junior class' new guidance counselor. Beth's cool, “live and let live” attitude and teaching philosophy is only a cover for a more sinister nature and motive: Beth's an evil demon hell-bent on destroying Dawn and the other supernaturals by absorbing their powers.

CAROL WILSON (40s) :
Dawn's adopted mother. Carol's an active member of the Oak Valley Action Committee and an aspiring local politician. Dawn bristles up against Carol's conservative politics and personality.

ROBERT WILSON (40s) :
Dawn's adopted father. Robert's a dentist and a bleeding heart liberal. Robert is oftentimes the support and the heart of the family. (He's also a little clueless.)

KELVIN BONNER
(“BONER,” 15) : One of the “Zeros,” Thorndale's resident
super-nerd. Boner's the brains of any operation, citing obscure mythology, lore, movie references, etc. He's the ultimate fanboy and resource against monsters and mayhem.

MEGAN PIERCE (17) :
Head cheerleader. Queen Bitch. Megan will stop at nothing — human sacrifice, conjuring Satan, whatever — for a
winning season. KLOE and AMBER PARK: Twins. Co captains. And Megan's minions.

SUSAN LUCCI (?) :
A vampire since forever. (“Makeup is hell.”) As an unknown actress, Susan made Dawn to gain the attention (and sympathy) of casting directors before she landed a spot on All My Children, after which she discarded Dawn for her career. Ever since she has been haunted by her decision and she is now trying to make amends for past mistakes.
